The Smarter Web Company has raised £41.2 million through the placement of new shares.

Gate News bot reports that, according to an official announcement, The Smarter Web Company, a UK-listed company adopting a Bitcoin reserve strategy, has completed a placement for institutional investors through Tennyson Securities and Peterhouse Capital Limited. This placement and subscription activity involved the issuance of a total of 14,221,623 new ordinary shares with a nominal value of £0.001 at a price of £2.90 per share, raising approximately £41.2 million (before expenses). The listing of the new ordinary shares is expected to become effective on or around 08:00 on July 1, 2025.
