However, he renamed it to "Government Efficiency Office" after receiving feedback because he found the original name too dull. The goal of this project is to improve government efficiency by 15%. Musk emphasized that the focus is solely on enhancing government operations, not on promoting cryptocurrency. This initiative was originally established by President Trump to cut federal spending and streamline government processes. Musk's involvement has led to some confusion, particularly as he is known for his support of Dogecoin, which is often considered a meme cryptocurrency. However, he clarified that the DOGE project is not about the adoption of cryptocurrency. Musk is a passionate supporter of Dogecoin, frequently sharing his enthusiasm through social media and public comments.
