The owner of Fortune magazine will lead the Thai company to pivot towards Bitcoin banking and DeFi.
DV8 Joint Stock Company, a company listed in Thailand, has appointed Chatchaval Jiaravanon as the new Chairman to reshape the Bitcoin fund management company. Jiaravanon, known for the acquisition of Fortune magazine in 2018, is a member of the Charoen Pokphand Group family.
Under his leadership, DV8 plans to implement fund management methods focused on Bitcoin, invest in DeFi, and build an integrated digital banking system with cryptocurrency to promote financial inclusion in Southeast Asia. The new board of directors consists of 11 members, combining local business knowledge and international experience in the cryptocurrency sector.
This leadership reform aims to help DV8 become an important factor in the digital asset strategy and cryptocurrency financial infrastructure.
