As Web3 technology gradually moves into the mainstream, we must face a reality: certain compromises are inevitable in the process of widespread adoption. Traditional regulatory frameworks and restrictions are likely to be applied to this emerging field.

This situation reminds me of the process of adapting comics into TV series. As a loyal fan of the original work, I always have high hopes for adaptations, but I also maintain a cautious attitude. Because I know well that the target audience for TV series includes not only fans like us but also regular TV viewers. Not to mention, the directors and production teams may have aesthetic preferences that differ from ours.

Even if the original author participates in the production process, certain compromises are often unavoidable under the drive of commercial interests. Unless there is a strong vision and the ability to find like-minded directors and production teams, most adaptations of comics are unlikely to meet the expectations of the original fans.

Isn't the development of Web3 technology similar? Although it promises to bring decentralization and user empowerment, in the actual implementation process, it may require some degree of integration and compromise with the existing system. It's like how adaptations need to find a balance between the spirit of the original work and the mainstream market.

However, this does not mean that Web3 will lose its revolutionary nature. On the contrary, this may be a necessary process through which Web3 technology can ultimately integrate into mainstream society in a smoother and more acceptable way by interacting and harmonizing with existing systems.

The key is that while we maintain the core理念 of Web3, we must also understand and adapt to the constraints and demands of the real world. Only in this way can Web3 truly realize its potential to change the world, just as a successful adaptation of a comic can be both true to the spirit of the original work and attract a wider audience.

Even comic adaptations can be used to analogize web3, which is quite reasonable.

The regulation has indeed made it difficult to hold on.

Compromise is betrayal; how can Decentralization coexist with regulation?
