Fundstrat's co-founder Tom Lee shared a striking bullish prediction for the price of Ethereum (ETH). Lee stated that the US Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) "Project Crypto" initiative could usher Ethereum into a new era in financial markets. (Lee, 2025). Emphasizing that Ethereum has recently shown strong performance against Bitcoin, (ETH/BTC), Lee noted that this surge was supported by Wall Street's interest and the development of stablecoins on the Ethereum network. Lee argued that Ethereum is the largest smart contract platform that operates seamlessly, is compliant with regulations, and is preferred by giants like JPMorgan (Smith, 2025).
According to Lee, if the ETH/BTC ratio returns to the level of 0.0500, Bitcoin could trade at $114,000 while Ethereum could reach $5,707. The Fundstrat team predicts that Ethereum will rise to the range of $10,000-20,000 within 12 months ( Lee, 2025). Other sources also support that Ethereum will gain value due to its technological superiority and institutional adoption ( Johnson, 2025).
