Trump allows Crypto Assets to be included in pensions?

A new executive order signed by President Trump allows 401k retirement accounts to include Crypto Assets, private equity, and other alternative assets. This is another move by authorities supporting digital assets and is seen as an important boost for the Crypto industry. The policy is expected to open new funding sources for alternative asset managers, but it has also sparked controversy: critics argue that this move will expose retirement accounts to excessive risks. It is noteworthy that in 2020, the U.S. relaxed some private investments, but their popularity has remained limited to this day. Therefore, the industry expects that this adjustment will not happen overnight, and there is unlikely to be a significant change in the proportion of Crypto Assets in investment portfolios in the short term.
