The attack on the transaction blocking system helped Saddle.Finance avoid a loss of 3.8 million USD.
On April 30, 2022, an attack on the Saddle.Finance project was successfully thwarted. A security system detected the attack behavior and immediately activated the transaction blocking mechanism. This action successfully intercepted a critical attack transaction, preventing the project party from a potential loss of approximately $3.8 million. Currently, the relevant parties have established contact and are conducting event analysis and follow-up processing.
The successful blocking of the attack this time is another important milestone following the first successful attack blocking achieved in March 2022. It once again demonstrates the effectiveness and importance of the attack transaction blocking system in practical applications.
According to the research and practical experience of industry experts, attack transaction blocking is considered a more proactive defense method than traditional security audits. This system can monitor in real-time and block ongoing or impending attack transactions, effectively reducing the security risks faced by DeFi projects.
