Sun Yuchen sues media, accusing them of disclosing false financial information.
[Golden Finance] According to reports, TRON (Tron) blockchain founder Justin Sun has filed a lawsuit against a certain media outlet and is seeking a temporary restraining order, alleging that it published false and private financial information in its billionaire rankings.
A representative of Sun Yuchen stated in a blog post on TRON on Tuesday that the billionaire index released by the media on Monday "published inaccurate data that seriously and dangerously misrepresented Sun Yuchen's assets."
Sun Yuchen claimed that he sent a cease and desist letter to the media on August 2, aimed at preventing the public release of his held cryptocurrencies, but the media confirmed that it would still publish the article. In a blog post on Tuesday, Sun Yuchen stated that the report would attribute the cryptocurrency holdings to him, "whereas he has never owned, controlled, or had any actual interest in them, and has not reported the actual amount of cryptocurrency he holds." He claimed in his complaint that the public disclosure of his held cryptocurrencies "would cause significant harm" and expose him to "the significant risk of theft, hacking, kidnapping, and personal injury to himself and his family."
