During a meeting at the White House with Ukrainian President Zelensky, Trump said he "does not believe there must be a ceasefire protocol." He stated, "A ceasefire sounds good, it could immediately stop the killing, but strategically, some countries may be unwilling to cease fire because it gives the enemy time to recover."
