Blockchain Introduction New Book Recommendation Meeting Focuses on Industry Development Trends

Recently, a new book recommendation meeting themed "Building a New Ecosystem for Blockchain Digital" for the book "Introduction to Blockchain" was successfully held in the form of an online live broadcast. As the editor of the book, Professor Chen Zhong from the School of Information Science and Technology at Peking University and Shan Zhiguang, Director of the Department of Informatization and Industrial Development at the National Information Center, attended the event and shared unique insights on blockchain underlying technology and industry development prospects.

Dan Zhiguang emphasized that the core of Blockchain lies in its characteristics as a distributed database that provides trusted attributes. He pointed out that Blockchain, as a new type of data storage and transmission method, can effectively make up for the shortcomings of the Internet in terms of trustworthiness. Looking ahead, Blockchain technology will play an important role in the process of digital industrialization, and its application scenarios will continue to expand.

Chen Zhongze proposed five key directions to promote the development of Blockchain: strengthening the independent innovation of core technologies in alliance Blockchains, advancing standardization efforts, deepening the industrialization process, promoting innovation in regulatory technology, and advancing the modernization of social governance.

According to the introduction, "Introduction to Blockchain" is compiled by an editorial board consisting of 22 experts and scholars from top universities and enterprises in China, taking a year and a half to carefully compile. This is one of the first batch of textbooks on blockchain published in our country, aimed at helping readers grasp the basic principles and concepts of blockchain, understand its fundamental application scenarios, and enhance their understanding and application capabilities of this technology.

During the roundtable forum, several editorial committee members conducted an in-depth discussion on the integration and development of industry, academia, and research in the field of Blockchain. Professor Deng Jianpeng from the Law School of Central University of Finance and Economics pointed out that NFT (Non-Fungible Token) provides proof of uniqueness for digital assets and may be widely applied in areas such as asset on-chain in the future. Xiang Lipeng, a senior engineer from the Electronic Five Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated that Blockchain is empowering government systems and promoting the development of social governance towards digitalization, intelligence, refinement, and legal standardization.

Pei Qingqi, the executive director of the Shaanxi Province Blockchain and Secure Computing Key Laboratory, believes that the combination of Blockchain and privacy computing will enhance data credibility and value, driving the transformation of the data market. Tan Min, the head of the Digital Economy Technology Promotion Group at China Mobile Design Institute, emphasized that the future reconstruction of the internet will be based on the integration of Blockchain, privacy computing, and distributed technologies.

As Blockchain becomes the keyword for the development of the digital industry, industry enterprises are actively laying out integrated development of production, education, research, and application. Some companies have achieved significant results in areas such as the formulation of blockchain industry standards, product technology research and development, empowering the real economy, education and training systems, and ecological industry construction.
